Hockey Drill – 2 Shot Neutral Zone Transition with Timing and Puck Advancement

Hockey Drill – 2 Shot Neutral Zone Transition with Timing and Puck Advancement

Description

One side at a time. On the whistle, the player in the middle moves their feet, passing the puck straight across. The player who receives the pass, quickly passes the puck to the player on the boards.

Player on the boards, passes it to the oncoming player from the adjacent line. This player advances the puck up to the original starting player, who goes in and takes a shot.

The player who advances the puck, continues around the center circle and gets a pass from the line he came from, then goes to the opposite end to shoot.

Both players remain in front of the net for the next 2 shooters and so on.

Focus:

Timing
Accurate Passing
After your shot always remain in front of the net to screen, tip or deflect.
