Hockey Drill – Continuous Warm Up Full Ice Using Cones

Hockey Drill – Continuous Warm Up Full Ice Using Cones

Description

This is a continuous drill.

On the whistle, 2 players start, coming out of each opposite corner with a puck. They skate all the way down the ice along the boards, proceeding past the far blue line, going around the cone towards the other line, passing (pass 1) the puck to the first player in that line (who moved out a bit ready to receive the pass).

After the initial pass, the players continue to skate through the slot area across the ice swinging low, going in front of the player they passed the puck to, turning at the boards, heading up the ice staying close to the boards.

That player now heading up the ice along the boards, receives a return pass (pass 2) while heading up the ice, proceeds to go down the ice and shoot at the net in the same end started from.

After the return pass is made that player skates over top of the cone, receives a pass (pass 3) from the line they just came out of, and proceeds to continue the drill and do the same.
